Spaces for truly unwinding under nature feel inconvenient and scarce.
Public furniture prioritise separation over socialisation and bonding.
Design Features
Sink transportation networks below wide pedestrian streets and replace fume-emitting cars with double bike and Bus Rapid Transit lanes.
Pervade greenery into the urban landscape via rain gardens on the transportation level, planter box railings, natural landscapes (rolling public square), and ample roof gardens.
Transform dead areas below train tracks into communal sheltered hubs that open to fresh air and sunlight via semi-outdoor social pods and a street market.
